Just when you think you have heard it all, Fox & Friends trots out Judge Andrew Napolitano with a scathing report that would make political thriller novelist, Tom Clancy, rise out of his grave and start typing furiously on a keyboard to create yet another best-selling work of fiction. Yet this latest bombshell sounds very plausible and could indeed prove true.
Napolitano is the Senior Judicial Analyst for Fox News Channel and is known for his candid way of explaining the most intricate, complex and multi-layered state-of-affairs in ways the rest of the world can easily grasp. He delivered a whopper yesterday morning.
On Fox & Friends Napolitano said, “If President Obama went outside the chain of command…there may be no American fingerprints on this.” What he means is that Obama may get to wiggle out of the wiretapping accusations made by President Trump due to a tiny little loophole. (Washington is full of them.) The Judge went on to say,
“Every president has the authority to order surveillance on any person in the United States of America without suspicion, without probable cause or without a warrant.”
It’s good to be the king—or president in this case. If Obama deemed it necessary to spy on then candidate Trump, he could simply call the NSA and ask for transcriptions of the information they already collected. He did tell America he had a phone and would use it—but he didn’t make the call to the NSA. Because if he had, there would be a paper trail.
Nope, Obama went into complete ninja mode.
Napolitano essentially is citing a little-known U.S. Code concerning Obama’s authorization. He went on to tell Fox, “He didn’t use the NSA, he didn’t use the CIA, he didn’t use the FBI, he didn’t use the Department of Justice. He used GCHQ.” What in tarnation is GCHQ you may ask? That would be the agency that Britain’s secret agents call home–also known as Government Communication Headquarters. The GCHQ has access to all NSA’s surveillance at a touch of a button, twenty-four hours a day, every day.
The three undisclosed intelligence sources say one person was dispatched to the GCHB and requested the information needed by then President Obama–leaving not a thread or pesky record as proof that Obama did any kind of surveilling. There are no American fingerprints on the information that was delivered to Obama. That crafty devil.
President Trump was righteous in his calling out of the unethical practices the left has used in trying to outright steal an election from the American people. The information being brought to the forefront in this story is just the tip of the iceberg and will not be over anytime soon.
You might be curious as to what happened to the misguided Obama courier who delivered the request for the surveillance information to the GCHQ. Well, three days after President Trump took the oath of office, that particular government employee resigned. Wherever did he go?
