Americans are shocked to learn that an administration that has signed an international pledge to normalize mass migration into the United States is granting “mass amnesty” for hundreds of thousands of foreigners to do just that. “Data show that since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by migrants have been closed by the US government if the applicants don’t have a criminal record or are otherwise not deemed a threat to the country,” The New York Post reported June 2 in an article that garnered national attention.
“This means that while the migrants are not granted or denied asylum – their cases are ‘terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim’ – they are removed from the legal system and no longer required to check in with authorities,” the paper related. “The move allows them to legally, indefinitely roam the US without fear of deportation, effectively letting them slip through the cracks.”
All it takes is a little paperwork to effectively erase national borders.
“This is just a massive amnesty under the guise of prosecutorial discretion,” Andrew Arthur of the Center for Immigration Studies told The Post. Arthur is a former immigration judge. “You’re basically allowing people who don’t have a right to be in the United States to be here indefinitely.”
‘Regular’ and ‘Orderly’ Migration
To understand how committed the administration is to allowing unfettered entry to the stream of migrants pressing toward America, one must examine its avowed dedication to upholding the protocols of a globalist pact known as the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection.
The declaration was signed by the Biden administration and 20 other Western Hemisphere nations meeting at the Ninth Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles in 2022. It is literally designed to create a pipeline for “orderly” mass migration.
“We affirm that regular pathways, including circular and seasonal labor migration opportunities, family reunification, temporary migration mechanisms, and regularization programs promote safer and more orderly migration,” the pact states. The strategy is clear: standardize and streamline mass migration by manipulating and expanding existing legal avenues in host nations on a vast scale.
“We intend to promote, in accordance with national legislation, the recognition of qualifications and the portability of social benefits,” it adds. “We plan to promote access to protection and complementary pathways for asylum seekers, refugees, and stateless persons in accordance with national legislation … We further intend to provide specialized and gender-responsive attention to individuals in situations of vulnerability.”
As Liberty Nation documented, US Secretary of State Antony Blinked traveled to Guatemala on May 7 to celebrate the administration’s efforts on behalf of the Los Angeles Declaration over the past two years. They have been immense.
“We’ve implemented new humanitarian parole processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, Venezuelans, and we’ve helped more than 400,000 individuals lawfully come to the United States,” Blinken stressed. “We’ve raised our target for refugee resettlement to 125,000 people a year, with up to 10,000 – or excuse me – 50,000 coming from our own hemisphere. And we’ve increased the number of H-2 temporary worker visas, which is a critical part of increasing lawful labor pathways.”
Open Every Door You Can
The abuse of a long-standing “humanitarian parole” program meant to aid refugees affected by catastrophic events such as war is a key weapon being utilized by the Biden White House in this mass movement of migrants into the United States. Politically correct terms such as “gender violence” also have been harnessed to expand the notion of asylum far beyond rational interpretation.
Domestic violence is a very real problem that unfortunately occurs everywhere human beings congregate. To decree an unassailable right for foreigners to be allowed entry into the United States over an issue common among all humanity is to allow asylum to all comers.
On June 16, 2021, Attorney General Merrick Garland abolished a Donald Trump administration decision closing the vague domestic violence loophole that had been grotesquely abused by internationalist NGOs and other aligned organized supporters of mass migration. Opening all possible roads for migration is the true goal, as stated in the text of the Los Angeles Declaration.
“We are committed to protecting the safety and dignity of all migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and stateless persons, regardless of their migratory status, and respecting their human rights and fundamental freedoms,” the declaration reads. “We remain committed to collectively leveraging the benefits of migration,” the pact continues, while promising to work with the globalist NGOs and organizations facilitating it. This is what the Biden administration has signed on to. This is what it is doing today.
