LN Web Gems 3.14.17: Big Brother is Watching

by | Mar 14, 2017 | Web Gems

Our spunky LN Writers offer up funny, outrageous and crazy tidbits from around the Web.  So many Gems, so little time…

Today, we just want to let Big Brother know that we know their they’re watching. And we’re watching too. That’s right; we’re watching you watch us watch you watch us…

The CIA is indeed watching, and maybe that’s not as bad as we thought. All this time we’ve suspected the government of spying on us to maintain power over us – or maybe it’s just because they’re nosy. Maybe they just want to protect us from embarrassing ourselves on social media.

Despite the apparently helpful act of the agency’s Good Samaritan, we’re not all convinced they have our best interest at heart. Former TV news anchor Ron Futrell has a solution:

That’s pretty good, even if it is unoriginal.  It looks like the CIA is going to have to work a little harder to earn the trust of the people. Meanwhile, there’s a poor, sad Amazon Echo in some millennial’s dorm room wishing Ron Futrell would put a cease to the unending asinine questions.

Yes, cats can eat pancakes. No, they really probably shouldn’t. Ron – anyone – please make it stop.

Tune in tomorrow for more gems from the web!
